Incomplete Medicals

My Wife could not complete her vaccinations for I485 Medicals as she was pregnant at that time. 2 Years have passed since our filing 485 . Can we do the Vaccinations thru the INS Dr. and turn in the papers without an RFE. In case she becomes pregnant again then she cannot do her vaccinations for quite sometime. I have seen someone post an approval with incomplete medicals.
This delay is taking a heavy toll on us.
I lost a full time offer with a good company beacuse I am not approved for Green card yet.
Any insights will help.
 
I was in the same situation. Attorney advised to wait to get a RFE, as even if its done, in his experience they ask again.

So am waiting for RFE

From my experience , I have learnt that the completeness of the medical process does not neccessarily mean that you have to take all the immunizations. It varies on case to case basis.

Also receiving medical RFE depends on how the I693 & I693 Supplement forms have been completed. There will be some immunizations to be marked in I693 supplement form as 'Not required at this age' or 'Insufficient Time', whic are acceptable to INS.

I am giving you an example....when you have done your medical test....if on that day you took one MMR and 2nd MMR can only be taken after 30 days. As per INS guidelines.... You have to have minimum 2 MMRs. Now what your doctor will do on the I693 Form? ...he/she will mark MMR1 as 'completed' and for the second one as 'Insufficient time' and they will advise you to come to get the 2nd immunization after 30 days with a recommendation to INS for exemption. This is acceptable by INS.

So, please donot worry much about your medical. Donot try to send any doc to INS without asking. If INS asks for taking some immunization which can not be taken during pregnancy , then the doctors comment 'not recommended at this time' should satisfy INS.

I got the RFE for medical for myself and my wife. The INS approved doctor did not send the supplement form along with I 693, INS sent me back the I 693 form and asked me to go to the doctor and get it completed. I wen t to the doctor he gave me two shots one for vericella and another for Titnus, I didnt take MMR as I took when I 485 was filed in Feb 2002, my wife didnt take the shots as she is pregnant. I got a letter from Gyn stating that she is pregnant, INS doctor just completed the form. I have sent it back to INS, lets see what happens
