Incomplete Medical and approval

One of my friends wife is pregnant and the medical is due for them.

He wanna know whether she can complete her medical (without chest X-ray) and get an approval from CIC or the X-ray is mandatory to get an approval.

Can anyone clarify this...
 
No!!
X-Ray is mandatory, however....
If his wife is pregnant, CIC will waive the x-ray. However she will have to undergo an x-ray once the child is born. I would suggest you call the designated physician.

You mean CIC will waive the X-ray, but they will not get the landing papers until they complete the X-ray which may be 8 months from now, near the expiry of their medical exam.

Can you please clarify incase you know more about it. Meanwhile I will call the physician ....
