Since the current visa bulletin shows that they are likely to be interviewed next year, my mum is thinking to have their own assets in another country included in the Affidavit of Support that is soon to be filed by her brother. She has US$40K deposited in a bank and my dad owns a house with market value of US$150K.
Would the sum of these two assets be good enough to meet the minimum income requirement? What will be the good evidence that would verify the value of assets and be convincing to the consulate visa officer? Thanks a lot for your advice!
