I am married to a US citizen (I am Canadian) and am already in the US as a 'visitor'. I want to file for my green card and just wanted to check that I have the correct procedure worked out.

I/we file I-130, I-485, I-864, G-325a, I-693, I-765 and I-131

Is that right ? Anything else I need to know about/file ?

Many thanks

You got it buddy. Depending on the state you file it will take you some where from 3- 31/2 years before they call you for Interview. So sit tight..

Thank you Trueman. Notwithstanding the waiting period for theAOS interview, is it true that the I-765 will come through sooner - so that I can work ?

Thanks again

Matthew

Don't get your hopes too high for I-767. I'm still waiting for my EAD to arrived in the mail. It already been 5 months since i applied. It is true though that you can apply for Interim EAD on a walk-in basis. I got mine.

Thanks Trueman

Thanks Trueman for that interesting piece of info. An interim EAD on a walk-in basis ? Where/which office would one walk in to for such a document ?
And on what basis - would such a document be provided - meaning what would one have to or substantiate to get interim EAD ?

Many thanks

Matthew
