Hi everyone and thank you for reading and replying :)

BRIEFLY MY CURRENT SITUATION:
-- I'm already in the USA. I first entered as a F-1 student.
-- H1B approved and Visa status change (from F-1 to H1b) starts in January 2006.
-- My job will require me to travel abroad in the future, hence I need a Visa stamped in my passport to re-enter to USA since the only thing I have is the I-797.

MY QUESTIONS:
-- To do the satamping, do I need to go to the following countries: a) Canada; b) Mexico; c) my own country?. Am I correct?
-- In my country, to get an interview will requiere too much time (months), and my employer may grant me ONLY few days to do the stamping. Therefore, I need to do the stamping in a quicker fashion in Canada or Mexico. I prefer Canada because is pretty close where I live. What are the valid consulates where I can do the stamping in Canada (preferably in te Quebec/Ontario region)
-- What documentation will I need?
-- How long it takes (approximately # of days)?

Anything (tips, advise, etc) you want to add will be greatly appreciated in case I am overlooking something here.
Once again, thank you very much

Best,
Gaara
