It is my sixth year of H1B. I need to extend it based on the days I spent overseas. To file extension, my lawyer asked me to send copy of my latest I94. The problem is I misplaced my I94, but I remember my latest I94 # and my last entry date.

My question: Is I94 really a required document to file extension?

Please advise. Filing a replacement is not an option as it takes too long.

I-94 was required when I was doing my extension. Why not fly to Mexico or Bahamas and get a new I-94?

Leaving the country is not an option for me since my visa is expired already. Can I use the I-94 that is in lower part of the I-797 H1B approval?
