To all the members of Immigrationportal and anyone else who can help me:
My story is like this - My Husband and I got our Canadian immigration in 2004, so we moved to Canada in June 2004 and in 1 month we got our PR cards. Everything looked fine... but my husband just couldn't find a job in Canada. After trying for like 6 months he applied for a job in US... he got his H1 in June 2005. I didn't apply for H4 though... because it would spoil my chances for Canadian citizenship. I continued to stay in Canada with my in-laws. I visit my husband every now and then... and I stay with him for 2/3 months and then I go back to Canada and stay there for 2 weeks and then come back again.
I have been doing this for one year now. Yet I want to know whats the end to all this.
I mean my husband will apply for my green card along with his own and god only knows how long that will take...
but I can get Canadian citizenship without any hassle... I mean can apply for Canadian citizenship in June 2007... atleast I am eligible to apply and I can get the citizenship within 12 - 18 months.
I honestly don't want to live in Canada nor do I want Canadian citizenship. To be straight-forward and say I don't want to live with my in-laws. thats it.
My husband and I want to have a baby next year, but I don't know if I am eligeble to an Insurance here... on the other hand I can get all my medicals for free in Canada and a lot of other benefits.
My husband still likes Canada and he would like to go there and start a business and also reunite with his family. He feels or atleast he tells me that there are better chances of succeeding in business in Canada then in US.
I really don't want to go back to Canada and settle.
Is there any hope for me? any solution to my problem?
Is there anyone else with a same problem and has found a solution

I just want to go ahead apply for my green card with my husband whenever that is happening.
I want to have a baby here in the US. How to go about finding a good doctor and a good insurance policy.
please advise if i am missing an angle.

p.s: my Husbands lawyers has already applied for change in status or whatever it is called after you get your H1 and before u get ur green card... whatever happens in between he has applied for that.
