I have a question on the above subject. I would like to import my car, model year 2000, into the US from Canada. This car was originally purchased in the US. So, it's already made to US specs and modified to meet Canadian specs too. Do I still need a recall clearance letter? How do I go about importing it? Any letters needed from Canada?
Any problem if I am importing it on a visitor visa. I plan to leave it in my wife's name (she is on an F-1). Appreciate your replies.
