I am preparing to file my I-485 and have a strange situation. I am working for company "A" for last 3 years on H1B. From Oct\'01 to Apr\'02 I went on Unpaid Leave of Absence to avoid getting laid off. During this time I was living outside the US and worked for company "B" in UK as an independent contractor. (who sponsored my work permit for UK).I was company "A" employee during this whole time, but on LOA. During this time company "A" applied for I-140 and it got approved. Now I am filing for I-485.
When filling Form G-325A (Biographic Info), I am not sure whether I should put down two companies during the time of Oct\'01 to Apr\'02. I am worried that this will only cause confusion, since the dates overlap and company "A" is in US and "B" is in UK.
If I dont put down company "B", but mention my address in UK, would the INS reject my application, if they found out later that I worked for co "B" in UK, while employed by co. "A" in US. Whats the worst that can happen ? Any inputs greatly appreciated.
