Important -Please Reply ---EAD application and GC approval

I had my GC interview ( Spouse of US Citizen ) and my EAD was expiring within 80 days .
I applied for renewal of EAD , by sending the forms and the money to Chicago P.O Box , but in the meantime my AOS interview was over and my passport stamped and received the conditional GC in mail.

But now I have received the receipt notice for EAD finger printing and biometrics , as I had applied for the EAD Renewal.

What should I do now , just forget about this letter or go for fingerprinting , but that wont make sense as I already have the GC.

Please let me know if any of you had faced the same problem.

You don't need the EAD if you have actually received the GC. Too bad you just spent $175 for nothing, but it's good to have your green card.
 
Process of Green card application (I-485) and EAD are two different things.
Since you properly applied and paid for renewal of your EAD it will be approved and new card will be issued to you regardless of whatever or not you have your Green Card already.
You can either ignore the notice, or go and get your EAD renewed to keep as a souvenir, since there is no way USCIS will ever send you a refund.
You can call customer service and inquire them about your question.

I would not worry about it. You can now legally work in the US. I would forget about the letter I received from USCIS

The problem is i got a Notice to schedule for finger printing and Biometrics for the renewal EAD application which was filled before the AOS Interview.

The notice which I received asks me to schedule a appointment for having the fingerprinting and Biometrics done , thats the reason I am confused about it.

Looks like they do not verify about the case and treat each application as seperate.

I wanted to know if anyone had a similar problem and what they did for it.

Send a letter to cancel the application or just ignore the letter. It should'nt create a problem later on as you never know ...

I already told you above - they DO TREAT every application separately.
You do not have to go to the FP or worry about this notice.
What are you worried about? you have GC, you don’t need EAD anymore.
What problems latter on? you eligible for work. Period.
you paid your fees for nothing. Just forget it. Stop pounding over this nonsense and have a good weekend.
