At VSC I-485 forum there is a proposal for new petition to Citizenship and Immigration Ombudsman at the Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Prakash Khatri.

According to the Homeland Security Act, this position is responsible for fostering positive liaison activities related to Citizenship and Immigration by making recommendations to resolve justified complaints and for establishing formal and informal channels for exchanging information between the Department of Homeland Security and other entities and for providing policy, planning, and program advice to the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, office heads and other officials.

please vote on VSC board. We'll arrange a conference call with
BCIS director and Citizenship and Immigration Ombudsman
if possible. Everybody can attend and ask questions.

I hope that most of us (the TSC folks) are following the above thread. If you havn't you should check it out. Some guys are organizing a
petition to submit it to a recently appointed BCIS Ombudsman, whoose job is to liasion with immigrant communities among other things. Mr. Khanna, our host, is subscribed to the thread and offering guidance. Once it is done, we should all join in by signing the petition.
