I am applying for renewal of ap, In part 7 it says that explain why I need a ap. Could you guys please give me some guide on how to prepare this letter. I read that there was a sample in immihelp.com, but I could find it. Please help me on that.

If it is a business requirement, ask your company to write a letter explaining the need to travel overseas.

The most common personal reason is to visit elderly parents. A sentence like the following will suffice:

I wish to travel to India for a temporary visit to see my elderly parents. Please issue me an advance parole document to enable me to return to the USA to await the results of my pending I-485 application.
