Important - EAD Mistake

Me and My Wife got our EADs a week ago. My Last name has two words and in my EAD only the second word of my last name is present. In all my official dcouments, the entire lat name is mentioned.

There is also a mistake in my gender.

I called the IIO at vermont this morning and talked to her. She said she had noted all the mistakes and would forward it to the appropriate department.

1. Will I get a new EAD - and how long does it take?

2. Since they have different case numbers for EAD/Advance Parole and 485, will it get automatically updated in all the documents?

3. Should I call them back and check - If so how long should I wait ?

Don\'t worry

I got the same type of problem. My EAD card came with my wife picture and her card with my picture. We sent back the cards along with new pictures. It took us 4 week to get back my new EAD cards with right pictures.

No Idea. But my lawyer sent my original card along with explanation letter and photos
