Can a Petitioner in US (A Citizen & Husband) be the designated agent for an applicant/beneficiary (wife) who is in India?.

Thank you for your response, I have another questions.

Does the correspondance / mail from the US consulate/embassy in India, come to you(agent) in US or does it go to the applicant in India?.

I864 fee bill and I864 form will be sent to petitioner by NVC no matter who the agent is.

Agent will receive immigr visa fee bill and DS 230 part I from NVC. When the file is complete with NVC, it will be transferred to consulate in India. After that the applicant in India will receive communication from the consulate like interview notification, document requirements etc.
