I just learned that my AC140 package accepted at Mumbai. I am posting this information to help any one who has doubts of this process especially if you have I-140 approved for CP.
Background informaiton of my case. Mine is approved EB2 case from NSC on Jan 28 for Chennai consulate (based on my parents and pssport address). But file did not go to NVC till April 03. Before that I learned that my file was missing or sent to wrong office around March 05 from INS. So I started thinking to do AC140 at Mumbai as I worked in Mumbai before I come to USA. So I filed I-824 petition (to request to change the consulate from Chennai to Mumbai) and sent the packet with I-824 receipt on thursday 04/11 by FedEx was delievered on monday 04/15. I just learned that they accepted and created a case for me. Expecting June/July interview.
Moreover, NVC also a created BMB case for me on 04/11. I was worried what would happen to my AC140 case. By god\'s grace every thing was OK. That NVC case did not screw up any thing.
