Impact on 485 on Copany mergers or acquisitions - suggestion

Greetings to all,
I worked for company A, part of company B. H1 labor and I 140 done in name of company A, While Company A was being conslidated with company B I 140 was pendig. company B was bought over by company C. Company C files for H1. I 140 was approved for company A. I 485 filed in name of company C stating that Company C is successor in line for company B that was in line of sussession of company A.

All were public listed companies.
I know I have 95% getting an RFE expaining the whole story. Any of you could see any potentail problems in the future.

Your lawyer should have filed an I-140 amendment (basically a new I-140 that is filed while the I-485 is still pending). When the amended I-140 gets approved, the story will be (hopefully) clear to BCIS.
My company also went through a similar situation and a I-140 amendment was filed while my I-485 was pending.

PS Dont know if this has any affect on the RFE.
