Hello folks,

Can you please let me know what the impact of rescheduling fingerprinting for citizenship application if you or someone you know has been through this?

Reason: am out of the country and won't be back in time for appointment.

The application is being processed by the Phoenix center. AM resident of the CA.

if you stay out of the country for a long time and miss the appointment, your N-400 will be denied because you abandoned it. If you have a friend or relative in USA, have him/her to fill out the form to request to postpone and mail it to USCIS. Try to get back to USA on time if it is more important to you.
