Impact of divorce on marriage-based GC

Hello,
I am requesting for help based on the facts below:

1. Married US Citizen: 2006
2. Marriage-based GC obtained: 2009. GC granted for 10 years, expiry 2019

My spouse and I have recently separated after 8 years of marriage and are trying to work things out. However, I am not optimistic that we will be able to resolve our differences and our marriage may end in the next few months.

My questions are:

1. Will there be an immediate impact to my status if we divorce? I assume not considering the length of my marriage and the fact that I have had the GC for 6+ years post-marriage.

2. Will there be an impact on GC extension in 2019?

3. Will there be an impact on naturalization?

Thank you!

1. No
2. Shouldn't
3. No, except that you can't use the 3-year rule so you can only qualify under the 5-year rule. Be ready to show proof the marriage was genuine if asked
