Hi,
I have a really complex case of a part of my company getting acquired by a multinational.
My H1B was transferred to the new employer.
My questions are follows
1> Do i fit into the drop box requirement , my 1st h1 visa stamping was at Mumbai and the last one was in Mexico.
The website says residents of US with last stamping at mumbai may apply though drop box.And since i had mine stamped at Mexico i think i do not meet the requirement.
Do i still meet the regular interview process.
2> They require experience letters from past employers which i forgot to bring along, will it be a problem if i cannot produce these documents.
3> Are we allowed to be accompanied by a company immigration lawyer to explain the merger part. This happened for a co worker while stamping in Canada.
4> How long i the process likely to take if i need a interview
Any answers are greatly appretiated
