I am positng this on behalf of a friend whose I-140 was transfered to local office. THe reason seems to be that they are doubting the employers ability to support my friends salary. Her lawyer seems to think this is a bad sign and that there case shall be rejected at this stage. Has anyone gone though something similar and made it through. What happens now that the case has been transferred to a local office at the I-140 stage. What did you do? Any references for a lawyer who could give them some sound advicce instead of giving them the dooms day scenario.
