Hi all:
I\'ll highly appreciate if you could please answer/comment on the following issue:
Case: EB-2, NIW (self)
ND: Aug. 10, 1999
Transfer to Baltimore: October 24, 2000
Still waiting for my wife\'s case to be transferred.
I\'m working in a Department of Defense lab on H-1 visa. It is a full time research fellowship. I recently found a discussion on this board, during search, about IRS form 1099-misc stating that we should not receive 1099-misc while on H1 as it is for part time jobs. But this is the form that I get at the end of the year for Tax purposes. Is it going to be an issue for me during Interview? My position is full time and I\'m not supposed to do any part time job, according to terms and conditions of my job, while on this fellowship. Is there anybody in similar situation? Did someone defend this status during Interview? What proof shall I carry with me to defend this status?
I\'ll highly appreciate your comments/suggestions on this issue.
Thanks in advance,
Anarpa
