Imp - Contacting Senator/Congressman

I contacted my local congressman last week and then contacted Senator too, the senator office sent me the letter for the release of information but also states that, if I have contacted any other congressional office about the same issue then I should not pursue the same option.

Questions:

1. Is the congressman office considered as congressional office?

2. Does it really matters, contacting 2 different offices?

3. The congressional office, i went personally and the aide although took my information but was not that helpful, senators office I just called and they just sent me the form in 1 day?

Please suggest?

Forum123,

I don't think that should be a problem as in posts here, we have seen people contacting multiple offices. And yes, contacting congress man's office means congressional office.

Which Senator's aid was helpful (if you are in NJ)?
What is your FP?

I saw two Oct 1, 2001 cases approved on 4/9 (from the list of some 20 cases around my eac number). So may be that IIO have started working again, but seems to be some very lazy SOB.

Thanks.

tx.

I frankly donot remember that correct FP dates but I do remember that did FP twice as once in Mar-02, and then again in Apr-02.

I had contacted Sen. Corzine office and the person sent the inquiry form to me in just 1 day, the congressman aid was not that helpful at all because her impression clearly showed that she was least bothered.

I will then send the info. then to the Senators office.

Thanks

Details

forum123,
Could you please post the contact details of Sen Corzine's office? I am also thinking of contacting them sometime soon and would appreciate your help.

Also any other contact info that you may have of senators/ congressmen would be helpful.

Thanks again

glad to

go to http://www.senate.gov and give the state as NJ, then it has option on the web-site where it says contact information, I think he has 2-3 offices in NJ.

Contact one of the offices and then ask them that you would like to speak with someone who deals with immigration issues, then probably that person will send a letter to you asking for you consent to release your information ect, and then they will do the proceedings, I will send the form tomorrow and see if things work out.

Hope this helps.
