I wish to update that I have requested Wachovia bank to open a checking account in the name of 'Immigrationportal.Org'. I expect to get today an account number and wire transfer information so those who wish to make contributions by check or make a transfer can be able to do it. Meanwhile I will get signature cards and other forms from the bank and have them signed by designated signatories. However, this should not stop any one from issuing a check in favor of 'Immigrationportal.Org' as his/her contribution for the fund. and ask the people to donate , and entire amount goes to the same bank account.
and once the person who is contributing the amount can get the suggestion from portal, ( it might sound individual service but that helps) , many ppl are afraid of going to attornies because of the cost factor,
You can also include, like becomeing member by contributing and get the serivce free, no documentation only suggestion and advice and course of action the person may follow (which is not legal advice.)

this is ridiculous. you want people to donate money??? yea..let me donate to a forum in which i did not get a single response to my questions nor did two of my friends in similar situations. look around this forum and see how many questions go unanswered. furthermore, these are not the questions which are already listed in stickies. 80% are fairly novel inquiries about H-1bs.

if you expect people to support this forum then get some people who will at least attempt to answer the questions.
