Google search on QGA

FYI - QGA is already working with Latino groups (american for Border and Economic Security) on immigration reforms (see below).
Would this confuse the "illegal" with "legal" immigration?

===================================================

Americans for Border and Economic Security is a a coalition of business and Congressional leaders being organised by the PR & lobbying firm Quinn Gillespie & Associates.

"Republican lobbyists including Ed Gillespie, the party's former national chairman, and former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, are seeking to raise money for a public relations-campaign of as much as $3 million" to support President Bush's immigration plan Bllomberg reported in August 2005. [1] (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000086&sid=aPRFG5iI3gmk&refer=latin_america)

The coalition will use "earned and paid media as well as grassroots communications" to emphasize the economic benefits of immigrant workers, reported PR Week. But "some of America's biggest companies" aren't supporting the campaign, because the details of Bush's plan are unknown. A Wal-Mart lobbyist said, "We are still uncertain what the policy is that the group will advocate for. Will it be only whatever the White House wants, or will it be independent policy goals formed by the members of the group?"

Aha! We are glad you brought this up

Its really nice to see people looking beyond just what appears on the surface.
We were thoroughly investigating each firm we were considering for the job (including QGA) to ensure that our agenda does not conflict with any they might already have.

As far as this goes, we did have a discussion specifically with QGA regading illegal vs. legal immigrants and have gotten assurance that the legal immigrant issues (ours) will NOT be overlooked because of the illegal immigrant issues heating up. We have had some very specific discussions regarding this and the core group at IV has been very satisfied/confident with QGA's stand regarding this.

Hope this helps

Congrats and thanks for those involved with immigrationvoice.org.

Also can immigrationvoice.org also fight for BEC ( backlog processing ) cases, esp P-BEC ? Our applications are pending in BEC's with out any case numbers and by the time it comes out , We all might have to fight with those 245(i) bojos and ...

Madanst, Believe me backlog centers are very much on our agenda. If you have seen our brochure we are also talking about eliminating 1 year H1B extensions and make it 3 years in all cases. If we are successfull in getting this, it will give relief to thousands of people who are waiting for their Labors

Thanks a lot to all those who have contributed now. If you had previously contributed only a small amount, now you have seen what we're actually doing with the money. So we're hoping that you'll contribute again.

Also please spread the word to your friends. There are more than 500,000 people affected by this and we have been able to reach only a small fraction of people so far.
