Immigration Through Lottery

Hi All,

Can someone please shed a light for me on the Immigration
Through Lottery system in US.

Is India among those few Countries ?

IF yes, Can I apply for the same.

Who qualify for the same & What are the Formalities for applying. ?


Can someone like me ( Software Engg. ) Working in US since last
three years ( Labor in Process ) apply ?

I will really appreciate if someone has some greate Idea on ths system.

1. India does not qualify for GC lottery. It is restricted to a few countries from where the immigration is in low numbers.

2. Based on your description, you would not qualify for the lottery system.
