immigration rejection?

My uncle has filed a petition for Green Card for my mother (his sister). My father applied for a H1. After he got his H1 we applied for H4. In the application we stated that NOBODY has filed a petition for my mother. But still we got the H4 visa. We also visited US once. My father is still working there. We may have to face the PR interview in abt 2-3 yrs. Will there be a problem when we face the Consular for the PR interview? Will the PR be rejected for this reason?

H1 visas allow dual intent so it should be okay in your case. I dont think it would be a problem for your interview but you may still want to talk to an immigration lawyer to confirm this,
