Immigration question

I'm a physician (neurologist) currently working in the USA, looking into moving to Canada with my family (wife and 2 kids). our plan is to apply for permenant residency and then afterwards start looking for jobs, as we will still stay in the states for 2-3 more years till my wife finishes her degree...etc.

I did one of the online evaluation tests and I scored 71 points. I have a couple of questions, regarding the proof of sufficient funds thing, do we need to have the actual cash amount in bank accounts, we currently own 2 houses, one of which we're renting out. value of these properties exceeds the required funds for a family of 4 (which is about $20,000), but we don't have that kind of money in our bank accounts. so I was wondering of owning property substitutes for that.

another question, I haven't taken the ILETS English test, but I've passed the TOEFL few years ago, also my education in medical school was in English, and I've been working in the US for more then 4 years now where the primary language is English ofcourse, is this enough to bypass the ILETS exam part?

one last thing, how long does it typically take to process the immigration applications from the US?

Thanks guys, I appreciate your input
