Vicente Fox hails US immigration bill


Mexican President Vicente Fox has praised the US Senate for passing an immigration bill he called "a monumental step forward".

The bill paves the way for millions of illegal migrants to seek citizenship, although it must be reconciled with tougher measures passed in the House.

President Vicente Fox WINS !!! Wonder why he is never asked to increase the patrols on there side (to stop illegal immigration)... and never asked to treat immigrants from central america who land up in Mexico humanly.

We live in interesting times.

We are people adapt to technology (which changes lives), to new inventions and discoveries (which changes lives) but when that change comes from people, we have mixed feelings.

So, we talk about Mexifornia, Eurabia, and chaos.

We live in interesting times - the "fear" to human migration and how this unfolds will determine the future of global relations of countries.

What will override these "fears" ???

My guess - climate change and the effort to save planet earth. Next 20 years are crucial for human civilization.

I liked your analysis ... and yes for some reason why human migration is so hated upon... a fellow immigrants hates other migrants ...

Immigration is very much required to save this earth ... people for more dense contries should move to less dense ones .
Think India .. if there is no migration ... all the wild life would disappear. USA is still 95% wilderness.

Take all the population of the world and fill them inside Texas .. The density of population of Texas would still be below the density of New York...
