I have applied for my wife, I-130 in Jul 07 and I129F (K3) in Aug 07. The case has been pending ever since. I have contacted my senator and Congressman and all i get is that the case is pending Security Check.
My questions is that what options do i have to pursue this is any further. I have two kids who are US Citizen and they are have been growing up without a father.
Is a lawsuit an avenue or what. I am just tired of waiting and it is affecting me, my wife and kids more than before.
She was here on visit visa, we were married here, i was not a US citizen then, just a green card holder. My kids were born here, she left as she lost hope in my citizenship process which was not going anywhere, i had lost my case due to a technicality, and i got my citizenship after the govt was suppose to file a response to the Appeal i filed.
my wife is from Kenya but settled in UK but not a UK citizen yet she has an equivalent of a green card in UK.
they are currently in UK. My kids are with her as my one kid was only a month old when they left and other was 17 months old when they left.
K3 was applied in the hope that if I-130 took long, she could get a visa thru K3 to come over while the I-130 was in process.
is writ of Mandamus an option anymore.
thanks for the suggestions.
thanx in advance for the advice.
