I have a question that nobody is really able to answer it.
I'm a German citizen, married to a US Citizen, we have a 1-year-old child that is dual-citizen. My husband is working in Afghanistan as a Civilian, not military.
We did all the paperwork for the immigrant visa before he left, at least the papers that he needed to be there for. We filed the petition.
I'm planning on moving to the States in about September, October.
But I'm worried now that I won't receive an immigrant visa because my husband is NOT working and living in the USA.
Does somebody know if it would STILL be possible for me to receive that visa even though he is not present in the US?
Would it help to get somebody to be a second sponsor?
I would be VERY happy if somebody could help me with that!
