Hello,
I received the packet(mailed to me by the attorney) from the National Visa Center, Portsmouth, NH( in June 2001) to proceed to consular processing ( after I 140 approval) a few months after i had left the company i was working for, through whom the I 140 was filed. As my new employer agreed to take up green card processing, i decided NOT TO pursue the consular processing.
However, my new employer started the immigrant visa application process in October 2001 and recently the labor certification was remanded to state workforce agency, after being with the Federal for more than a year.I do not expect any further further progress.
Question: Can i now proceed to Consular processing, allthough i have left the old company, quite a while back, as my immigrant visa application through the new employer is stuck at Labor?
Thank you for your time.
Regards
