Hi, I have been reading the whole forum, even I was the only call to the conference service :D. I'm waiting to receive my Residence Card, I apply a couples of months ago. As soon as We get it ( my wife and me) we want to go to vacations ( not to our country) , a regular vacations to Mexico or Canada or maybe Spain. What are the documents that we need to travel outside the USA and comeback with out problems? Can I travel with my Country Passport and The residence card? or I'm MUST get the RTD?

Thank you for the help

Hey The Walker, thank you for the information. I saw in one of your post that you are not the principal in the asylum case. The same happen with my wife. Is there any official document that says that the wife or family can travel to the country of origin?

No. There isn't any official document that says that your spouse or kids can travel to the country of origin.

From what I've understood, if a person who's been granted a derivative asylee were to travel back to the country of origin, there might be chances that their asylee states would be revoked but at the same time, they might be permitted to enter the country on their return because they're not the principal applicants. I'm going to be applying for my RTD in couple weeks time and I'm still undecided on whether to directly fly to my country of origin or just fly to a neighboring country and use my citizenship to enter my country ( without showing any other documents that suggest that I live in the states ).

As far as I understand you should be OK to go to your country, since you're not the principal asylee and I've seen people who've visited the way you're planning to.
