I'm Going for It! Wish Me Luck!

Hi,

Recall I had a messy case. I filed an outstanding research/professor
with CSC. After 210 days of AOS pending I got fired.
There was a law called AC21 that allowed you to change jobs
so long as AOS pending > 180 days and in same or similar job.
I started a new job as a professor a six weeks later. Never
had time to inform INS since AOS got approved 10 days after
starting new job.

Here is why I'm going for it:

I checked out my I140 it says outstanding researcher/professor
(new job is as a professor).

Letter of support says my research area is xxxx and it still is
xxxx.

Original company did not revoke I140 (I believe, how would I know).

Thanks, I went down and talked to the INS at the local office
handling my case. The immigration officer was hopeless!
Did not even know what AC21 was. She just told me if I knew
some much about the law I should be carrying around my
green card at all times.

Another reason to get Citizenship. No more dealing with dumb-ass
insulting INS (or what-ever they are called) workers.
