Just got the crazy email from USCIS! I had no LUD recently. The last time I called them in February they told me to call back in 6 month as my name check is not cleard!

EB2-NIW filed December 2005
I-140 Approved in August 2006.
I-485 Pending since December 2005.
I-485 approved May 6, 2008!

which country are you from?

I applied in EB2-NIW in Sept 2005 (India), concurrent I-140/I-485.

I-140 got done in July 2006.

No news on I-485.

Filed originally in CSC, transfered to TSC in Mar 2007 and pending there.

Did you do anything special?

Im from Iran. I didnt do anything special. My lawyer just send them a request back in February and ask them to approve my case based on the 180days memo. But Im not sure it actually helped! I was about to ask my lawyer to contact AILA for their help but the case was finally approved. AILA helped me actually when I was waiting for my EAD for 6 months and I was out of job back in january! I couldn't even imagine that I would get my GC in few months after what I've been going through earlier this yr!
