I'm desperate: who can sign contract for NIW at a VA?

Hi,

I am currently doing my J1 waiver at a VA and want to apply for NIW. I have been trying to meet with the chief of staff to get the contract letter (I should say "letter of support") for 3 months now. He seems very "busy". I remember reading in this forum that someone had a similar problem and had his letter of support written by someone else and it was accepted. I can't find the message. Does anybody know who (status) can sign my letter of support? What about the chief of division? All I need is a letter stating that they have "good intention to renew my contract". Would it work?

WHat about the public interest letter? Can someone tell me how to get it? As you can see, I am not getting much help from the VA.

Thanks.

Talk to your HR folks. They will get it signed by the appropriate person, most likely the director of the hospital.

I am doing my J1 waiver at a VA hospital. I filed NIW. The letter of support is very simple saying that your work is in Public interest and it will be signed by DIRECTOR!
