illegal immigrants

now that the senate agreed to legalise illegals do you think it will benefit us legals in any way.i mean i-245 cases are they illegals.so will there be any increase in no of g.c issued,so that they go into seperate category?
could some one explain me this issue?
anyways looks like immigartion bill in favour of legal immigrants in voted out.

The latest news today is that the immigration bill is almost dead for now. There is wide spread speculation that this bill will not get through this election year. A big deal is being made about it because its mid-term elections year and both Republicans and Democrats are talking about how important it is to have a bill but behind the scenes both parties are working hard to stall it. It is pure politics and we should not expect anything this year.
