Illegal immigrants

How does a person go about turning in illegal immigrants? Are there specific locations in each state? I don't think that it is fair to us US citizens to have jobs taken away from us by Illegal immigrants. Some work places will pay these people more for doing the same job. They take work home eith them for their spouse to do and make at least $200.00-$300.00 more then the Americans. Why is this? There are severlal places in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois that have Illegal immigrants working for them. So, who do I talk to to get these people out of the work places that allow this to happen?

Not only in the US

Janice,

You can find Illegal immigrants not only in the US, but in most developed countries. Its an informal partnership that benefits the state more than the illegal aliens, I promise you.

In Germany, they use the "Guestarbite" figure or Guest workers, to have people take the jobs of trash collection, street cleaning, etc. Things that the regular German will not like to do.

In the US, the government looks anothey way when talking about this issue. They need the illegals in the kitchens, in the fast foods, etc, etc, that's why they do not deport them. On the other hand, this illegal people are hard workers that get sometimes split from their families (who are abroad) and work hard every day to make a living and feed his children. I have a lot of respect from them, and I hope they get "legalize" soon so they can have some basic benefits like health care, and the country can get taxes and other benefits that it is missing because of this black market economy.

Not just developed countries, illegal immigration is a phenomenon seen whenever there is a disparity in living standards. It is estimated that India is home to 15 million illegals from Bangladesh. There is a hue and cry every now and then, but ultimately its the issue is convieniently dropped because of the sheer impossibility of deporting such vast numbers of people.

You can report the employer to FBI or USCIS - there are laws which requires employers to make sure they dont hire illegal immigrants.
