Illegal Deportation Re-entry

If one were to use their social security number (issued before deportation), upon entering the U.S. illegally after a deportation, would they be discovered?
 
I dont think so. The only problem might be with IRS.
In the other hand, right now the employers must do I-9 verification, so be careful.
