Hello All,

I got my IL and N-659 yesterday (11/7)......see my sig. My wife did not get her IL or the doc check list (so far our FP and other steps have progressed together).

Questions:
1) How long should we wait before panicking?

2) What steps should we be taking to contact the USCIS?

3) What did you guys in the similar situation do?

Please provide advice.

Thanks,
Speedy

Take it easy. Same situation as yours. But the IL came 4 days apart. IL, YL for me, YL for wife came the same day. All postmark dates were same. All the letters had the same code on the envelop. ( there is a computer printed code on the front side of the envelope).

Wife's IL came 4 days late. Postmark date was same for both letters but the code was different. So, there is something different when they process. Also don't be surprised if your ID is a day apart. Chances are more when they don't come on the same day.

Hey, there is no reason to panic.
See, after fingerprinting they ruining background check,
And your spouse case might be a little different.
Your spouse can get IL anytime, and it can be different date few days apart.
Don't worry about that, try to schedule a oath at the same day.
And drink Pepsi, watch TV, there is a Californication at 9pm CST on Showtime. Relax brother, enjoy your weekend. Everything's gonna be allright!

Thanks for your advice guys...

So far I am taking the chill pill and relaxing. Actually it will be much better for us if we get 2 different ID's. Hopefully the USPS did not lose it somehwere. I plan to wait atleast a week or two before contacting the USCIS.

Cheers,
