IIO talk: RE my case and Sep reverse order

I talked to an IIO today. I asked her the question regarding my case, which she answered. She was courteous.

I am not really impatient about the time or dates, I just wanted to check if I should apply for EAD extension. So, I asked her how is it possible that some cases with RD in end of September are being approved. She said they are processing cases from September 1st. If any end September RD got approved, they are simply lucky. She could not explain why those cases were approved.

Post the same Question to another IIO and you'll get a different answer.
IIO= Incompetent Information Officer

Bobby V.. This time I spelled you correctly?

When are you planning to apply for EAD renewal. I have started filling the forms. Just thinking when should I send the packet.

I called the same IIO also.

She says they are processing up to September 1st case. Mine is 09/04 (she does know the difference between RD and ND). I was told that my file is in STAGING AREA (ready to be assigned anytime) and should hear something in 4-5 weeks. She denied reverse processing politely.

anyway.. waiting continues....

IIOs are like Indian Politicians. Everytime you ask them they say "Aapke gaon mein bijli aa jayegi" ( You will get electricity in your village). Go to them 1, 2 ,3 or even 55 yrs after independence and you still have the same answer. Similarly IIos buid up false hopes, like we are processing Sep and your file is in staging area etc etc....Don't build up high hopes guys you will be dissappointed. Sep will start full fledgedly after 4 weeks atleast.

Kaash,

I asked the IIO and she said they are processing the EAD cases as soon as they are getting them. I am calculating 2 weeks more wait time, if they do not assign an officer by September second week, I will file for extension. My EAD got approved on December 1st. So it should last till November end. I am seeing EAD's are being approved within 4-6 weeks now.

And yes, you got it right this time! But you did not have to be formal with a V. Just simply plain Bobby is fine. (Had to say something) ---> :)
