IIO says FP not received - Please Help

Folks,

 Here are my details:

 PD - 4/99, EB2
 I-485 RD 01/21/00
 I-485 ND 02/03/00
 FP 03/15/01.

Actaully I did my FP on 03/14/01. I checked FBI after week or so and was told they have processed it and sent to INS. I tols IIO that i did checked with FBI and he told me that it might take 30-90 days after doing FP to get their system updated. is that correct ? what can i do now? any reply is greatly appreciated.

I read someone post that it take about two weeks to update information, I also see many cases approved after FP few days. so I don\'t think this is right neither.

Thanks for the reply guys. I thought the same thing. But what can i do this situation? I called FBI again and verified that my FP was sent to INS on March 19th itself. The FBI officer told me that it usually takes only 2-3 days for INS to get it. Having said this, now please throw some ideas regrading what i can do....

any reply is greatly appreciated.

Yeah!!!
I too got same crap from the IIO this morning.
I have done my FP on March 20 2001. I called the FBI and they said that they had send the results on March 22 2001. (..atleast some organisation live upto expectations).
But the IIO (spoke to her today morning at 11:00 AM) said that my file was lying on the shelf , because the FP results are updated in their system only after 60 days of doing the FP .
After 60 days it would be updated in the system and then be going to the processing area.
I still fail to understand
a)what is this 60 days rule ...
b) Why does this not apply to other Service centers ?
c) There are so many cases approved , where the FPs were done in last week of March or early April . There doesn\'t seem to be uniform processing pattern ...

But yes, i have spoken to atleast four different IIO\'s on various days and everybody gives me the same 60 day answer (at least that answer is consistent )

Thanks for the reply, princeofpersia. I totally agree with u, that it doesn\'t make any sense at all. May be after 60 days of FP (the date we actually did our FP), if we call we might get some better answer. Can you please post ur details (PD, I-485 RD/ND)? we can keep in touch and let each other know if there any new developments.

I am tired of calling the IIo\'s. I will call them only after 20th May
In the mean time i will just check the AVM.
I guess we should just hoping a early miracle.

Thanks, princeofpersia. I am also planning to call the IIO around that time (after May 16). We are seeing people getting approved with in two weeks of doing FP, where as for us IIO is saying it will take 30-90 days to update their system. this is ridiculous. I thought the 60 day is from FP notice date which is a month earlier than FP appointment date. anyway i don\'t know what else we can do other than wait. if you have any suggestions please let me know.

Initially i was also that the 60days would be from the FP notice date.
My FP notice date was Feb 9 2001.
But after 60 days from the FP notice date , they told me 60 days after the actual FP.
I don\'t know what i am going to hear next...
By the way what\'s your PD ?
I am wondering whether it got to do anything with the PD...

Same thing happened to me. first time when I called I was told there were no fingure prints and that scared me away. After talking to FBI I tried 2nd time to find out status and I told that they got fp results and my case is on 60 day hold period.
