iio says 390 - 420 days for processing

iio's abuse freedom of speech concept. They say whatever suits their fancy at that moment when you ask questions. When I called (Aug 15) the iio said NSC was currently processing june 18 cases. Very same day the processing time was published and it said July 13. Go figure!
Never give any weight to processing times given by IIOs.
The 2 times I spoke to IIOs they have been way off base.
I had an RD of 6/1/01.
In mid-May 02 an IIO told me at least 3-4 more months; I got an RFE in 3 weeks.
In early July 02, I was told 2-4 weeks more; My case was approved the next day.
I would talk to an IIO only if there has been an extra-ordinary delay in my case OR if the AVM was not updated with what I think should be the latest status.
