IIO got mad at me !!!

Hi,

I'd never talked to an IIO before and the first interaction wasn't pleasant either...

Here's what happened:

With a case pending since Oct 25 2001, I thought that I was due for a response and had called the BCIS 800 #. The lady, in late november 2003, said she'll put an inquiry and someone will get back to me about my 485.

Since I didn't get any letter I called again and another lady said she'll do the same for me, however this time she offered me if i wanted to talk with an IIO.

I thought this was pretty cool and started talking to the IIO. He had problems hearing me and was pissed from the get go. Then he started yelling that thats the national svc. ctr and not calif. svc. center.... he said all i could do is put in an inquiry and someone will get back in a month. when i said that i had done that last month he recommended i do that again and thats all i can do...

boy it didn't go well, i'm surprised when i read about the good pleasant conversations that people have all the time.... :)
 
I think many of us have had similar confrontations with the National Service Center (the IIO put the phone down on me last time). It also seems that the CSC completely ignores most inquiries from the National Service Center. The suggestion to go with a fax (as you are well before the JIT - 30 day limit for fax inquiries) is the right one - either do it yourself or get your lawyer to do it for you.

Must have had a fight with his wife or his girl friend went out for another date...dumped him.....so he was off mood...;)

fax # 949 389 3055


if u dont get reply after 15days they allow u to email them

include the followin info in ur email

1)when u made first inquiry
2)fax # used
3)if u talked to any officer
4)if u did give name
5) and what did he say



CSC.XII.485@dhs.gov no attachments allowed

You know how many time i have called those bastards? Can you guess? 12 times from last 10 months. For the first 9 times all they have done is: filling the same stupid form. Rest three times they have forwarded me to talk an IIO. Those guys are even worse.
One guy yelled at me, another asked me to file complaint against INS. Another guy told me that he can not help me at all and asked me to sit tight and wait for my turn.

ItsComing: You know the link you posted, i have faxed to the same number (the follow up number) 5 times. I have even put "HELP ME", "PLEASE HELP" kind of big words at the top in bold and in font size 40. But no response.

These are all assholes. i am totally frustrated and it is fucking horrible. My case is WAS02062.... and filed in 12/01
No 2nd FP, No RFE. Filed for 3rd EAD & 3rd AP.

i hope you feel better now. Take it easy. Stop planning the life around GC and start having fun.

Nicely said dude! I agree with you all the way.
BCIS workers don't give a shit whether you get yours or not man,
in fact most of them probably cheer the fact that they can delay, deny, and piss us off.

They're idiots but they know one thing, non-U.S. citizens like us filing complaints or what not aint gonna change shit or affect their jobs. Bottom line is, they know we got no power to take their freakin cushy jobs away. For these uneducated idiots what job is better than BCIS jobs? 1) you don't need to work 300 days out of 365 days in the year with the way the AOS backlog is moving,
2) none of their customers (i.e., us) can hold them accountable,
F$%ck, what better job is there man?

The only way we can win is to remember the treatment we're getting and even after getting GC (and those of you who want citizenship also) continue to fight anti-immigration and racism by the powers that be.

You have summarized the whole situation quite well. Just
to correct your last statement. You probably mean
sons of bitches. I am sure there is more than one in INS,
including ridge and neufield.
