You must have seen the posting on Employee Only Website. It is very clear that the company has screwed us up!! Here is how???!!
1. The posting says IGate cases are "successor-in-interest" cases, not \'I140 Portability\' cases. Since this is not part of AC21, an amended I140 is required in each of our cases.
b As you all know, the company did not file our amended I140 immediately after the company was split just to save a few thousand bucks! Finally they realized that they cannot get away with this. But they have managed to save a few hundred bucks!! They must be really happy to see us getting screwed!
2. They say IGate cases are put on Hold erroneously by VSC.
b Who is going to ask VSC to release these Holds? Why should our cases be on hold when it is not part of AC21? Why does the company blame VSC? If they had filed for the amended I140 when the company was split/restructured, our amended I140s would have been approved a long ago and by now most of us would have had our GCs approved. And there is no way VSC could have put our cases on hold.
Now the company should ask the attorney to get all our cases released from this \'HOLD\' mess. Attorneys can argue with VSC about this and ask them not to put our cases on hold since it is not part of AC21. Apart from this, they should also make sure that our amended I140s and I485s are linked!!!
