If you gor approv. and haven't received GC in 2weeks read this

I got approved March 2nd and received my approval notice 5 days later but no GC, and welcome notice.
I contacted USCIS and got transfered to NSC spoke to officer and she told me they didn't print the GC because I had no BIO on file, I told her that I completed my bio last year and she found it. SHE TOLD me good thing you called because your case is still in NSC and I will issue you card tomorrow you should get it in a week, if you hadn't called your case would have shiped to another office and you would have waited for 3-4 months, to get a notice for BIO.

I tried that already but customer service rep said they can't transfer me to an IO in NSC but he got all my info & said he's going to forward that as an inquiry to NSC. And if I don't get the card next 30 days then call back.
Could you please tell me how did your call got transfered to an IO over at NSC? What number you called 1-800-375-5283? Please let me know cause I was approved Feb 09 but yet no sign of Welcome notice nor GC. Just received the approval mail on Feb 14 just 5 days after approval.

just follow the prompts, and answer that you got recently approved and it has more than 30 days and you haven't received GC system automaticaly transfers you to NSC

I did exactly what you mentioned & a customer service rep answered the call & he took all my info inorder to forward it to NSC where the case was processed. When I asked him if he could transfer my call to NSC for an immigration officer he simply replied they can not do that but forward my problem to the right authority which in my case NSC. He also said which is unlikely but if I still don't receive anything next 30 days call them back.
I also asked him is it a regular issue that occurs frequently? His answer was it's common & very easy to fix this. When they forward this to NSC they will find out what happened & mail me my card. That was a relief.
You know in my case I'm pretty sure IO who approved my case some how forgot to proceed that to the next level which is ordering GC therefore card was never issued. But as soon the official inquiry will be at there office they must act upon that.
Bottom line is if a case got approved things are way less complicated & easy. Officer approved the case means he/she has full intention to give me plastic otherwise they would have asked for more RFE's or may be interview or things in that nature. But since that's not our case we will be getting it very soon. Also I mailed NSC a letter along with my BIO code 2 completion receipt which clearly proves it's has been taken care of back in July,2005. So even if they have misplaced that now that they have my receipt copy they must know it's done.
Yes, most approved applicant receive plastic within 2/3 weeks time frame but there are always some bad luck folks & unfortunately me, you, Nasrmobin & some others aren't so lucky so even though we are approved but still our waiting period has not yet stopped. But we must get it over with this soon.

It is just the regular phone #, but when you call you need to hit option 1, than the option that you received a welcome notice but no GC (even if it is not a fact) than the system should ask you to enter your receipt # after you enter it will tell you the case status, and to press 3 in order to continue, you press 3 and you get transfered to NSC officer
