N0ow we have GC without FP, dependent GC given to spose
already divorced, and I heard a dependant got GC
before the primary appklicant got approved and
If the government say teh approval is approval and you can not have it undone

then why should one worry about changing job can affect
green card in retrospect?

If it is proved that your approval was done based on wrong, incomplete or malicious information.... your approval could be cancelled. This has happened to many people. It pays to be honest.

Because the government, actually CIS, can change their mind. When somebody at CIS looks at the file later on, that person probably doesn't know about what lead to the decision, so that person then could say "oh, something's wrong here, this should have never been approved", and then go ahead and revoke the GC...
In the spouse case that was in another thread here, the person did all the right things, giving them all information, so that in case an examiner later on questions the validity, she can always point to the fact that she put all information on the table, she didn't hide anything, and a supervisor made the decision to let the GC stand.

And of course you can give up the GC just fine if you wish to.

It is similar with the issue about changing jobs too early. If the person changing jobs can document that he or she had the required good faith intent to work for the sponsoring employer, any doubts by a CIS examiner can easily be removed. The whole emotional and sometimes vicious debates about that here are only about being able to show the good faith intent.

Its funny how you took 20 sentences to say the same thing I said in 1 sentence. This is what I said earlier... If it is proved that your approval was done based on wrong, incomplete or malicious information.... your approval could be cancelled.
