If i use AC 21, do we need to apply EAD for my wife and son

Hello Guru's,

If i use AC 21, my wife and son (who are on H4), will be out of status?

Do we need to apply EAD for them? Please clarify.

If you use EAD to change jobs, you will no longer be in H1 status. And if your H1 status is gone, the related H4's will also be gone.

Was the I-485 filed for them? If yes, they will not be "out of status" (but they won't have H4 status), and you don't need an EAD for them (unless they want to work).
