If you changed ur job after 180 days of filing 485 then no one on earth could revoke ur I-140. Its ur property now.

the problem is that I got laid off before 180 days.

Then you dont have to worry since changing job was not ur decision. GC is for future job and INS will consider ur case as normal, provided u show ur employment at the time of approval.

Here is chat transcript from attorney Murthy:

Question : Is there any way the "portability" rule applies if a person gets laid off within six months of filing I-485, provided I-140 and labor are not revoked? Some of my friends got the GC with this scenario.
Answer : Yes, the INS has repeatedly mentioned, in various meetings and at AILA conferences, that there is no problem in a person obtaining the GC even after leaving or being laid off within 180 days. The only criteria are that the INS should not adjudicate the case within 180 days and the new job should be in a same or similar occupation. There is still a concern that when INS regulations are issued, those regulations (which have the force of law) may express a different view.

Now you can hv good night sleep :D

Thanks so much sam99.

Does anyone know that if I140 gets revoked then the online status show anything regarding revocation?

Thanks ones again,

Ii Depends upon IIO. Recently last January My colleagues 485 were redetected because our employer revoked I-140 after 180 days. It happened to around six people. IIO did not accept AC-21. Attorney is one of most famous IN USA. But did not go through
