Hi:

I am waiting for my I-140 approval. RD - june 20th 2002.

I have a One year H1 Extension up to Nov 2nd 2003. My 6 years on H1 expires on Nov 2nd.

What happens if the I-140 does not come through -
Is the H1 one year extension still valid or is it void?

Anybody, please!!!

The H-1 is valid until it is cancelled. INS could cancel it. I have no idea whether they will or not.

I think it makes sense. H1 is valid until it is cancelled.

Thank you Mr.Mills.

I think it makes sense. H1 is valid until it is cancelled. Whether they would take time to cancel it or not is the question.

But if they did not cancel, after I-140 is refused, then will I be in legal status until such time they cancel it.

Also I was thinking about Canadian Green Card. I will call on you.

Thanks so much.

Best Regards,
Nagananda
