If given I -9 to (GC sponsored) employer, is it problem to change the employer???

Hello gurus.,

how long i have to give the I 9 to gc sponsored employer after PP stamped.
If given is it problem to change the employer. I want to change employer.
Please advise what are the Precautionary steps i have to take.

I 140 approval on 6/27/04
I 485 approval on 12/22/04
PP stamped on 1/4/05
